# Heartache

Does heartache ever end?

The cracks and grooves, do they mend?

Will it return to its regular beat?

Without you, it's incomplete.

No rhythm for the life it once promised to me.

Emptiness lives where happiness should be.

The glimmer of hope is that we'll meet again,

when my time is up and I meet my end.

I hope you'll be stood expecting me,

with arms wide open, like it used to be.
