**FUCK!!** What am I meant to do now? I’ve never even thought of her like that, let alone do those things with her. How do you know somebody for that long and not have a fucking clue!? More to the point, why haven’t we done this before?

I just need to get it out. I need to tell someone. I need to feel like that again…

She turned up late last night. She’d been out on a date, and I guessed it ended badly. She’s always been cagey about her love life, never gives us names or anything, none of that cheesy – *his eyes are so blue* or *he’s got muscles for days*. NOTHING! I just thought she was private, kinda prudish, if I’m honest.

“Date not go well, then?” I asked.

She shook her head and looked up at me with those wild green eyes.

“You won’t understand,” she said.

“Why? Has he got two heads and a car horn where his dick should be?”

“There you go, you’ve done it already,” she thunders.

She gets to her feet and stomps across the room to the window.

“Done what?” I questioned. “What the hell are you on about? You come here crying after ignoring me for weeks, you want me to listen, but I’m not sure what to. It’s just a bad date. Plenty of other fellas you can climb all over – no biggie.”

I follow her over to the window. I put my arms around her shoulders.

“You’ve always got me. Nothing that a tub of ice cream, a few glasses of wine and a good old natter with your bestie can’t fix.”

She whips around to face me. Her hair catches the glare of the street light outside, and with the fury burning within her, it’s like she’s on fire.

She moved so fast I barely had time to think. Her lips were on mine and her hands were in my hair. A throaty moan escaped me as my body started to arch towards her, craving her touch. I’d never been kissed like that. Every nerve in my body was alive with her.

She breaks away from me, my eyes still closed… She grabs her coat and heads for the front door. It takes me a minute to realise I’m still locked in the moment, I’m still locked in her.

The front door slams and wakes me from my reverie…

I find my shoes and grab a jacket. I can’t leave it like this… I step out into the street, but she’s nowhere to be seen. I sit on the wall outside and take out my phone.

“You give me a gift like that and then take it away?”

As I hit send, my phone chirps with a message of its own.

“Look up” is all it says.

Her heels clack onto the road as she makes her way back to me. I feel shy as she approaches, but I know I want her closer. She takes my hand and entwines her elegant fingers around mine. She whispers that she’s sorry. I shake my head and silence her with my kisses. Deep, slow, searching…

I hear a door open a few houses up. I jump back from her, as if I’m to be admonished for breaking the rules. A pained smile on her face, she leads me back to my front door.

“I should let you sleep. We’ll talk tomorrow,” she says.

“Please stay,” I murmur. I don’t want to be alone now.

“What do you want?” she pushes.

“More,” I breathe.

She can see I’m nervous. Softly, she tugs on my bottom lip with her teeth, her hands gliding over my clothes, releasing me from their restraints. She drops to her knees, trailing a line of white-hot need to my navel. She pops the button of my jeans and eases them over my hips. Her eyes feast on every last inch of my body she unveils. I feel so exposed, I pull her back up to me. I need the reassurance of her mouth on mine.

My fingers fumble at the buttons of her shirt, no longer sure where my nerves end and my desire begin. She giggles softly into my mouth as her dextrous digits make quick work of the rest of her clothes…

**And that was only the beginning…**
