*I hadn’t even asked,* 
*but your lie was at the ready.*

*With your guilty-looking expression* 
*and your palms all hot and sweaty.*

*Between your backstreet dodgy dealings* 
*and the trollop you had on the side,* 
*What else in this relationship* 
*did you lie about and hide?*

*Why do you deem it necessary* 
*to cheat your way through life?* 
*Thank God I’m giving the ring back,* 
*and won’t become your wife.*

*You told me daily how much you loved me,* 
*how much I meant and more.* 
*But it was all a load of bollocks.* 
*What the fuck did you lie for?*
