The things I miss since having kids: toothpaste-free sinks, untouched biscuit barrels, a TV remote that actually lives where it belongs, and knowing exactly who made the mess. Just a few everyday reminders that my peaceful, uncomplicated life is now officially a distant memory.
Apparently, I’m the person people tell absolutely everything to… especially the things they’re probably better off keeping to themselves.
Does heartache ever end? The cracks and grooves, do they mend? Will it return to its regular beat? Without you, it's incomplete. No rhythm for the life it once promised to me. Emptiness lives where happiness should be. The glimmer of hope is that we'll meet
